The Planetarium was inaugurated by Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee the then Finance Minister of India on April 3, 2010 and now has become a major attraction for people. It provides immersive experience of different cosmic events and makes scientific knowledge on space and astronomy accessible to common mass in an enjoyable format
